The Alpha course is a ten-week long, video-led course. We’re hosting it in a comfortable home in Churchill, starting with tea/coffee and a piece of cake. We’ll watch the video together and discuss it in small groups. We make no assumptions about faith or experience. No questions are out-of-bounds. We’re running the course on Sunday afternoons between 4 and 5.30pm, starting on Sunday 25th Feb. There’s a creche for babies or young children. Please come and join us if you can. You’re welcome to come and try it out and stay if you’d like to.

How important is God?

C. S. Lewis said, “Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance, the only thing it cannot be is moderately important?”

How important is our faith in God? Most of us will think it is important, but perhaps not our biggest concern today. But what if God is personal, powerful, and loving, if he can be a friend throughout life, rather than a safety-net for the end?

Please join us as we explore the key elements of Christian faith, looking at them in a group, sharing from each of our personal perspectives, learning together.
