Lela was born in Uganda and spent her formative years in Kampala. She is an author who shares real-life experiences to encourage others. She has a heart for helping others and supports charities involved in education and healthcare throughout Africa. Among the books she has written, she based her biographical novel, “Lela: Ashes of Childhood”, on the story of her childhood.
